Electrical Training

This program is designed for individuals wishing to gain electrical experience. This full-time program consists of 20 weeks of hands-on training. Course experiences include, but are not limited to, residential install, troubleshooting, commercial install, conduit bending EMT, conduit bend PVC, conduit bending IMC, wire pulling, industrial motor control, Transformer work, grounding and bonding, OSHA 110, First Aid, Cadwelding, and basic financial planning. Graduates will receive continuing education and career counseling from instructors after the program as needed.

Data Analytics and Marketing

This program is comprised of “An Introduction to Applied Marketing Analytics” and “Data Visualization with Tableau.” Learners will receive training on data ethics, analysis and visualization, and work with real-life marketing case studies from companies such as Spotify, Netflix, Google, AirBnB and the Red Cross. This course teaches the learner how to use Excel, Tableau, and other tools to analyze and visualize data. Upon completion the learner is eligible to sit for the Microsoft Office Excel Specialist Certification and the Tableau Specialist Certification. This program is 100% online with weekly synchronous live lab sessions.

Certified Medical Secretary (CMAA)

A program that prepares individuals to perform the duties of personal secretaries for practicing physicians and nurses, health care facilities and services administrators, and other health care professionals. Includes instruction in business and medical communications, medical terminology, principles of health care operations, public relations and interpersonal communications, software applications, record-keeping and filing systems, scheduling and meeting planning, applicable policy and regulations, and professional standards and ethics. Students will work hands on with scheduling tasks, Electronic Medical Records and clinical skills training. Students will interact with a variety of health care professionals in a wide variety of medical practices. Certified Medical Administrative Assistants will complete Certification through the NHA at the close of the course using a standardized certification exam.

Insurance

An Insurance certificate prepares a student for an administrative position within an active insurance office. The student will not only learn the details and skills needed specially to be fully functional in the insurance industry but also gain much needed selling and technical computer skills needed by employers.

Certified Production Technician (CPT)

Certified Production Technician (CPT) certification training will give you the skills you need to begin a career in manufacturing. The program will examine areas of production such as safety, quality, manufacturing processes, and maintenance awareness. You will be introduced to manufacturing concepts and actions that can produce higher quality products, increase productivity, achieve greater customer satisfaction, and assure a safe and healthy work environment. The program will utilize hands-on training, online simulation and programming to prepare you to become a Certified Production Technician.

Truck Chassis Systems

Completion leads to taking the ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Technician T-5 Suspension and Steering and T-8 Preventive Maintenance Inspection Exams, employment, and/or completion of an associate degree.

Supply Chain Management

Ivy Tech’s Supply Chain Management program prepares students to enter the workforce with the skills demanded in industry. It addresses the movement and storage of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, analysis and finished goods. Students are able to study and get familiar with the high technologies and information systems used to track goods and increase efficiencies.

Supply Chain and Logistics

This certificate provides background for students who are interested in more efficient ways to distribute and manage their products. The curriculum includes several basic subject areas such as accounting, computer software and e-commerce, operations and materials management, as well as total quality control.

Sales Training
