Commercial Drivers License A (CDL A)

CDL training prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to drive trucks and buses, delivery vehicles, for-hire vehicles and other commercial vehicles, or to instruct commercial vehicle operators. Includes instruction in operating gas, diesel, or electrically powered vehicles; loading and unloading cargo or passengers; reporting delays or accidents on the road; verifying load against shipping papers; arranging transportation for personnel; and keeping records of receipts and fares. This course prepares students to successfully pass both the written and practical portions of the State of Indiana’s Class A CDL test to secure an entry level position as a tractor-trailer driver with a trucking company.

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)

A certified nurse aide (CNA) is an individual who works primarily in long term care facilities or nursing homes. The CNA assists residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, or eating. A CNA works under the direct supervision of licensed practical nurse or registered nurse and can perform only procedures that are within the scope of practice for a CNA. All training programs are approved based on compliance with federal regulations, state rules and administrative standards. In addition, all programs are expected to utilize the Indiana Nurse Aide Curriculum that establishes the minimum course standards. The nurse aide training program must consist of a minimum of 30 hours of traditional classroom or on-line equivalent instruction and 75 hours of clinical instruction. Each lesson provides objectives, terms, content, resident care procedures (RCPs) and review questions.

Electrical Training

This program is designed for individuals wishing to gain electrical experience. This full-time program consists of 20 weeks of hands-on training. Course experiences include, but are not limited to, residential install, troubleshooting, commercial install, conduit bending EMT, conduit bend PVC, conduit bending IMC, wire pulling, industrial motor control, Transformer work, grounding and bonding, OSHA 110, First Aid, Cadwelding, and basic financial planning. Graduates will receive continuing education and career counseling from instructors after the program as needed.

Data Analytics and Marketing

Data Analytics Training Program; This program is comprised of “An Introduction to Applied Marketing Analytics” and “Data Visualization with Tableau.” Learners will receive training on data ethics, analysis and visualization, and work with real-life marketing case studies from companies such as Spotify, Netflix, Google, AirBnB and the Red Cross. Upon completion the learner is eligible to sit for the Microsoft Office Excel Specialist Certification and the Tableau Specialist Certification. This program is 100% online with weekly synchronous live lab sessions. This course teaches the learner how to use Excel, Tableau, and other tools to analyze and visualize data.

Qualified Medication Aide (QMA)

Our Qualified Medication Aide program is 5 weeks of classroom. The classroom session is 2 days a week from 8 am till 3 pm to complete the required 60 hours of classroom. Classroom instruction includes lecture and Instructor demonstration of tasks in the QMA scope of practice. Students will then be required to demonstrate proficiency of tasks to the Instructor to finish their performance checklist. Once classroom hours are completed, the students is required to do 40 hours of Practicum at the approved facility of their choice. Prior to their state exam the students is required to attend a mandatory 6 hour review session.

Certified Medical Secretary (CMAA)

A program that prepares individuals to perform the duties of personal secretaries for practicing physicians and nurses, health care facilities and services administrators, and other health care professionals. Includes instruction in business and medical communications, medical terminology, principles of health care operations, public relations and interpersonal communications, software applications, record-keeping and filing systems, scheduling and meeting planning, applicable policy and regulations, and professional standards and ethics. Students will work hands on with scheduling tasks, Electronic Medical Records and clinical skills training. Students will interact with a variety of health care professionals in a wide variety of medical practices. Certified Medical Administrative Assistants will complete Certification through the NHA at the close of the course using a standardized certification exam.

Qualified Medication Aide (QMA)

The Qualified Medication Aide Certification Program ensures that individuals meet the requirements for a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA). As a QMA, a former CNA is now able to administer prescribed medications while also completing the other delegated nursing tasks as allowed by state law. The QMA training program consists of at least 100 hours of training to include 60 hours of classroom instruction and 40 hours of supervised practicum. This will be accomplished within an 8-week program meeting three times a week for 2.5 hours each day. The class will include the required QMA program coursework along with integrated workforce preparation activities. Pre-requisite: Be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or equivalent Be in good standing as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) on the Indiana Aide Registry Worked a minimum of 1000 hours as a CNA within the last 24 months.

The Insurance Certificate program prepares a student for an administrative position within an active insurance office. The student will not only learn the details and skills needed specially to be fully functional in the insurance industry but also gain much needed selling and technical computer skills needed by employers. The Insurance Certificate program also includes a work-based learning internship where students can have opportunities to learn while they work in an actual insurance office The program can be completed in two semesters allowing students to get into the workforce more quickly. The certificate was vetted by Indiana insurance companies to make sure students are prepared for this exciting career pathway.

Cybersecurity Analyst Bootcamp

The Cybersecurity Boot Camp helps students apply the required knowledge and skills to solve security problems associated with information systems in a Cyber Analyst role. The student will learn the skill and competency required for auditing information systems security for legal and regulatory compliance as well as assessing security risks and enforcing security policies for user organizations by using standard operating procedures. Students will learn how to analyze the requirements for implementing systems security solutions, design and manage security solutions to meet the information systems security requirements of an organization and exhibit the knowledge and skills required for configuring systems and protocols in order to implement information systems security within an organization. The Cyber Analyst Boot Camp is 24-weeks and is comprised of 12 classes and is available 100% online.
