Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing

The Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Certificate prepares students for the entry level manufacturing operator positions in the drug product manufacturing industry such as Catalent, Baxter and Eli Lilly.  The Certificate provides technological training in the areas of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), GDP (Good Documentation Practices), FDA audits, quality practices, work safety, regulatory compliances, drug formulation principles, aseptic drug filling operations, visual inspection, freeze-drying operations, packaging, drug stability testing, and includes the six sigma white belt and OSHA 10 certifications.  The 18 credits in the certificate (CT) also count towards the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Biotechnology.

NOTE: This program requires that recipients file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and be eligible for Title IV financial aid. The Workforce Ready Grant is not based on family income.
