Networking and Security Specialist

This one-year degree program prepares graduates for employment in the information technology field with an emphasis on network support, security, and administration. Extensive network training, including hands-on experience with many WAN (Wide Area Networking) and LAN (Local Area Networking) technologies is provided. Students will learn best practices for prevention, mitigation, and response to cyber security incidents. Additionally, students will have the option to prepare for certifications in one or more of the following: CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, or ITIL. Graduates may find entry-level employment as LAN-WAN network installers, network service technicians, and network administrators.

NOTE: This program requires that recipients file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and be eligible for Title IV financial aid. The Workforce Ready Grant is not based on family income.
