The Manufacturing Skills for Success program is a ten-day workshop series is to prepare you for a career in manufacturing. You will learn a wide variety of skills relevant to manufacturing through various methods, including hands-on activities and discussions. Courses are led by facilitators who have extensive experience in manufacturing. This program prepares individuals new to manufacturing or the workforce, individuals seeking work, may serve as additional new-hire training, or as a way for individuals to update their workplace skills. This training provides a Purdue University Certificate of Learning, MSSC Certified Production Technician Quality Certificate, and an OSHA 10 certification.
The Right Skills NOW – CNC Machining CPC Certificate will offer high quality training that focuses on bridging the advanced manufacturing skills gap. Students receive 6 to 8 National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) credentials and become well-trained entry level CNC Machinists with upward mobility potential.
Technical Certificate programs provide education in conceptual and technical skills for specific occupations. The program content is designed to develop competency in the comprehension of general and technical skills. This program includes courses in lean manufacturing, metrology, statistical process control, and ISO/QS International Standards.
Indiana Tech’s Production Management Certificate provides students with the knowledge and skills required to plan, budget and monitor a plant’s production. Topics include management theory and practice, design of production systems, safety programs in work settings, human behavior and motivation, project management and project planning techniques and systems.
NOTE: This program requires that recipients file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and be eligible for Title IV financial aid. The Workforce Ready Grant is not based on family income.

The Advanced Automation and Robotics (AART) program at Ivy Tech offers hands-on learning with modern equipment in classes taught by faculty who have spent their careers working in manufacturing. Students will be able to troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment like PLCs, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and motors and controls.
Students will be able to properly line up and load chain sprockets, pulleys & sheaves; correctly install a taper lock pulley; correctly align motor coupling and hydraulic pump coupling to increase life of both pump motor & coupling; and indicate all components to an axial center point.
The Manufacturing Production & Operations (MPRO) Program is a complete online degree designed to develop skills and knowledge of modern manufacturing processes. Manufacturing companies require skilled machine operators to produce high quality products. This program prepares students to become skilled production operators that can succeed in manufacturing environments.
This program is designed to prepare graduates for gainful employment as machinery repair assistants. Emphasis is placed on machinery repair, electronic controls, mechanical drive systems, and hydraulics and pneumatics.
